The program
This virtual (via Zoom) interactive program, co-sponsored by The Reflective Practice Institute, offers a transformative experience through peer shared reflection. Our objective is to enhance 3rd-party professional capabilities to improve their decisions and support parties in effectively addressing their concerns. We will apply Reflective Practice (RP) and the Structured Reflective Instrument (SRI ®) to increase awareness of and transform habitual patterns driving our work.
This is an interactive program, composed of seven monthly sessions of two hours (conducted via Zoom) with presentations, conversations, selected readings, and extensive hands-on case-based practice.
An SRI ® Certificate will be earned upon completion.
Continuing education credits are available.
Who can benefit from the program?
3rd party interveners practicing in any global location, including mediators, Ombuds, and peace and conflict professionals interested in continuous professional development and performance improvement through shared reflective learning.
We seek professionals led by curiosity, humility, appreciation for the unknown and uncertain, and desire to question and explore different perspectives and new possibilities for becoming better professionals.
The program will be limited to 15 participants.
Continuing education credits will be available.
What is the SRI?
The SRI is a goal-oriented, multidimensional reflective framework developed by Tzofnat Peleg-Baker to improve interventions’ decision-making and outcomes. It is based on behavioral science research like improving expertise, skills acquisition, decision-making, conflict, and mediation translated into evidence-based practices.
What is Reflective Practice?
Reflective Practice is a process of learning through and from experience to gain new insights of self and practice. It involves self-examination—becoming self-aware and critically evaluating our reactions to puzzling experiences in practice to improve the quality of our services.
